Magneto-optics in quantum light and matter

An intensive two-day event dedicated to exploring the forefront research in magneto-optics.

The Magneto-Optics in Quantum Light and Matter conference is an intensive two-day event dedicated to exploring the forefront research in magneto-optics – spotlighting its latest advancements in the study of quantum light, quantum states of matter, and light-matter interaction in low-dimensional materials, especially phenomena emerging at experimental extremes (high magnetic fields, cryogenic temperatures, ultrafast timescales, and nanoscale spatial resolutions), while sparking new ideas and collaborations.

Participants are welcome to join the guided tours of the Qlimate (Quantum Light and Matter at Extremes) facility featuring the Quantum Design OptiCool and to other state-of-the-art quantum metrology laboratories within the Quantum Metrology Institute and the newly established Institute for Quantum Standards and Technology at the National Physical Laboratory. The conference will provide a unique opportunity to engage directly with the Quantum Design Q-Works team, innovators of the OptiCool system, and discover how state-of-the-art instrumentation is driving the future of measurement science and quantum technologies.

This event will feature invited talks and poster sessions by experts in the field. For more information on the conference and updates on the agenda, please click on the “Register now” button on the right.

There will be no registration fee. We gratefully acknowledge Quantum Design’s and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation’s support of this event.
