The science and engineering undertaken at NPL enables us to make contributions to climate change mitigation and support solutions across many different challenges. As the UK’s National Metrology Institute, the expertise facilities and capabilities available at NPL have a crucial role to play in supporting confidence in the data which underpins decision making for climate mitigation actions. Our expertise spans many areas across climate science, greenhouse gas measurement and support for the innovation which will play a vital role in the delivery of emissions reduction and net zero.
