Patrick Bevington is a higher scientist in the atomic sensors group within the time and frequency department working on atomic magnetometry. He joined NPL in 2016 as an ICASE PhD student funded EPSRC with the University of Strathclyde working on ‘radio frequency atomic magnetometers for applications in magnetic induction tomography’, which he completed at the beginning 2021 after being hired as a permanent member of staff.
