Yaser graduated with a BSc in Chemistry from Queen Mary University of London, with a year in industry. He joined NPL in September 2022 as a Net zero graduate research scientist. Yaser’s first year rotation in NPL was with the Air Quality and Aerosol Metrology (AQAM) group investigating the performance of diffusive samplers.
Yaser is a graduate program scientist delivering scientific impact across air quality, electrochemistry, and gas metrology. His work includes ensuring software and equipment employed is fit for purpose through relevant testing and calibration, analysis of research project data, ensuring quality, and presenting the findings with the wider team as well as externally.
