Frankie James is an Assistant Scientist within the Electronic and Magnetic Materials group.
She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2020 with a Master’s in Physics, which had a focus on biophysics. Frankie joined NPL's Magnetics team in the summer of 2021.Since joining she has primarily been involved in the delivery of UKAS accredited measurement services with a focus on AC conductivity calibrations, and has had a growing involvement in characterisation of magnetic sensors. Frankie is also working on a range of techniques to provide DC resistivity measurements for various materials.
