Christine Thorogood joined the Electronic and Magnetic Materials Group as a science apprentice in June 2016. Upon completion of her apprenticeship in March 2017, Christine was enrolled as an Assistant Scientist where she continues to support group projects. Christine’s main focus is on the evaluation of PCB materials at high temperature. Christine is interested in applying her previous experience in the Force measurement group at NPL to current research in lithium battery metrology.
Christine is also a member of the founding committee for the Early Career Members Group with the Institute of Physics.
