On receiving the honour, Paul said: “It is a great honour to receive an MBE. The award is the result of the work of a great many people and it’s as much a team effort as it is an individual effort. It’s fantastic to be recognised in this way. It’s an incredibly exciting time in our digital world and I look forward to continuing to promote standards to our rapidly growing and widening community.”

Vicki Saward, Deputy CEO, said: “Congratulations to Paul for receiving this honour. Paul’s support in the development of our digital and data strategies has been invaluable as we live in an ever-growing digital world.
