In 2021, the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) published a White Paper outlining a new approach to technology assurance and plans for its implementation. This was a result of acknowledging the need for improved technology assurance systems in order to ensure the UK is on track in its ambition of becoming a science and technology superpower by 2030.
Quantum Communications Hub investigators Christopher Chunnilall, NPL, and Tim Spiller, University of York, have produced annotated versions of the NCSC’s documents with added commentary on the applications of these principles in the context of quantum communications.
