The Advanced Machinery Innovation fund has launched today (20 May 2024) with UK registered organisations, in the West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester regions, able to apply for a share of up to £1 million for the development of advanced machinery. The funding is from the UKRI Strength in Places Fund supported by the Advanced Machinery and Productivity Institute (AMPI).
AMPI aims to stimulate and support rapid growth of the UK’s machinery manufacturing sector, designed to support a coherent supply chain from research through to implementation.
The funding will invest in collaborative projects across different technologies, markets and research categories that increase the development and commercialisation of advanced machinery.
