Join us on 04 September at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) for How long is a piece of string LIVE – the third in our series of live science talks this year, celebrating our 125th anniversary. 

You’ll hear about lots of amazing science at NPL and beyond as our scientists delve into the history of landmark scientific discoveries and the people behind them.  

You can have a go at mastering our Dolls of Confusion too – a mind-bending game of intuition versus reality.
