International secondments

NPL abroad

Our scientists and engineers are seconded to companies and universities around the world. This broadens our knowledge and helps spread best practice in metrology.

Come and work with us

We host researchers from universities and research institutes across the world, on a short- or long-term basis. Funding is available for travel and subsistence for up to six months. The secondment length can exceed this if funding is secured from another organisation.
