Thomas Easton

Higher Scientist

Thomas Easton is a Higher Scientist in the Optical Frequency Metrology group at NPL, where he is a member of the team building a next-generation ytterbium optical lattice clock. He joined in September 2023 following a PhD at the University of Birmingham, in which he worked on an experiment focused on the dynamic manipulation of ultracold atoms using optical potentials to produce quantum simulations. He previously undertook undergraduate study at the University of Birmingham.
