Higher scientist

Abhishek joined NPL as a Higher Scientist in 2020 after graduating with an MPhysPhil degree from the University of Oxford. At NPL, Abhishek is working on the development of quantum algorithms and noise models for near-term quantum computers in the quantum software and modelling team.

Areas of interest:

  • Quantum algorithms for machine learning and materials simulations
  • Modelling noise in quantum computers
  • Benchmarking of near-term quantum computers
