NPL apprentice recognised at Student awards ceremony.

Tyler Smith has won the apprenticeship award at the Richmond upon Thames awards ceremony

NPL IT solution technician Tyler Smith completed his level 3 apprenticeship and went on to win the apprenticeship award at the Student Awards 2023 on Thursday 14th September, held at Richmond upon Thames College. 

Over 100 guests attended the ceremony at the college campus in Twickenham.  Among them, the Olympic world champion swimmer Mark Foster, the mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Suzette Nicholson, CEO of Harrow, Uxbridge and Richmond colleges merger, Keith Smith, as well as students, parents, staff and other members of the local community. 

Tyler Smith, Service Desk Analyst, said: “I am very grateful for all the support I was given throughout the duration of this apprenticeship and want to thank all those around me who helped me to achieve this award!”
