Ilias obtained his MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Patras (Greece) in 2011. His project thesis took place at University College London and was on the evaluation of Dual Energy Contrast Enhanced Digital Mammography technique using CMOS Active-Pixel Sensor. His BSc degree was in Biomedical Engineering at the Technological Institute of Athens. Ilias joined the Radiation Dosimetry Group at NPL in 2012. He is also a member of the Pan-Hellenic Club of Engineers of Medical Instrument Technology.
Ilias is interested in healthcare calibration services relating to ionising radiation dosimetry using a clinical linear accelerator (linac) at NPL.
