Clinical measurement challenges in nuclear medicine

The National Physical Laboratory is pleased to announce a two-day meeting on clinical measurement challenges in nuclear medicine, to be held on 18 - 19 May 2026 at NPL in Teddington, UK.

The meeting programme will cover the following topics:

  • Radioactivity measurement (incorporating the Radionuclide Calibrator Users Forum)
  • Quantitative imaging (including calibration and the use of machine learning)
  • Absorbed dose calculations

With a focus on clinical validation, commissioning, and accreditation requirements.

We hope the meeting will enable discourse and the sharing of best practice through dedicated, moderated discussion sessions, as well as the opportunity to present specific case studies of measurement challenges in an open forum.

If you wish to submit an abstract for a presentation (10 minutes plus a 5 minutes’ discussion), please complete this form.

Provisional timings:
Day 1: 09.30 - 17.00, with an evening meal (location TBC)
Day 2: 09.30 - 15.30

Cost:
General admission is £150 per person for the two days, inclusive of VAT and fees.
