Rebecca Lewis is a scientist who joined NPL in February 2021 after graduating with a BSc in Physics with Particle Physics and Cosmology from Swansea University in 2020. In her final year project, she looked at different sub-atomic particles and their characteristics, along with various Feynman Diagrams, to calculate the main decay modes of the Higgs Boson and compare them to the experimental results from the LHC.
She is currently working within the Time and Frequency Department, working on the software for the National Time Scale and the National Timing Centre.
