Kevin Lees obtained his PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 2001. Prior to this, he received his BSc (Double Hons) in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Southampton in 1995.
Kevin joined NPL as a Higher Research Scientist in 1999 and has worked as a scientist developing dielectric material measurement. He is now the Group Leader in the Data Science group. Kevin has received numerous awards, including the ‘Big Tick’ Business in the community award on behalf of NPL (2008) and Serco Silver Award for business development (2013).
