Imogen Forbes

Imogen Forbes graduated with an MSci (Hons) in Natural Sciences from Durham University in 2022 before studying for a PhD in physics at the University of Bristol. Her doctoral research focused on the generation of high-dimensional entangled states across multiple degrees of freedom and the application of integrated photonic devices in quantum information processing and simulation.

In 2026, she joined the Quantum Photonics Group at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), where she continues to work on photonic technologies for quantum networks and metrology.
