Fanoula joined the National Physical Laboratory in 2018 and with her business development and Physics background, played a key role in streamlining delivery at the Quantum Metrology Centre and developing capability in optical clocks and data management structures. She joined the Data Science department in 2023, leading the work in setting up the AI Standards Hub and developing Machine Learning capability across NPL. She has extensive experience in leading teams, developing scientific capability, and enabling collaborations. She is currently actively engaged in supporting Industry and Government in developing confidence in data, is Chair of the Employability Committee at Royal Holloway, University of London and a regular speaker at Data Science events representing NPL.
