Fanoula Ziouzia

Fanoula leads the Dimensional Metrology group. She joined NPL in May 2018 and is excited to be part of a dynamic and world leading research group. For her technical background she is a Physicist with expertise in thermal and magnetic measurements at extremely low temperatures. Her career has spanned from project management work to new product development in a range of industries from scientific publishing to product certification. Over the last 5 years, and after completing her MBA, she has focused on people management and business improvement roles in technical organisations. She is a published author, a chartered member of the Institute of Physics and actively participating in mentoring schemes for women in science.
