After graduating in Medicinal Chemistry at the university of Messina (Italy) in 2008, Angelo moved to the University of Leicester where he was awarded a PhD studentship to work on the Synthesis of Extracellular Matrices mimetics. In 2011 After completing his PhD he moved to NPL to work on the development of new antimicrobial agents. From 2017 Angelo has been appointed as group leader and is responsible for managing the Nuclear metrology group.
