The Measurement for Quantum (M4Q) scheme provided UK organisations with access to NPL expertise to help address measurement challenges in quantum technologies. Through the scheme, companies and innovators received technical guidance, proof of concept measurement support, and access to world-leading facilities.
The M4Q scheme is now closed to new applications as we review and update the programme to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of the UK quantum sector. This review includes looking at how we can streamline access, strengthen collaboration routes, and align more effectively with emerging industry priorities.
Although the M4Q scheme is closed, NPL continues to support organisations developing quantum technologies through a range of alternative routes.
