Xstrahl, an organisation which designs and delivers effective clinical and research solutions to advance radiation oncology, asked NPL to advise on the interpretation of the standard protocols and on metrological issues, prior to third party testing of the technology. Xstrahl’s devices are unique in nature, used for cancer patient treatment regimes.
The provision of advanced radiation oncology treatments are an important element of cancer treatment regimes and working with NPL through the M4R programme, not only helped Xstrahl generate the product data they needed in a timely way but enabled independent assessment of the technology to validate against performance requirements.
