Amy Burton

Higher Research Scientist

Amy joined as a Higher Research Scientist within the National Centre of Excellence in Mass Spectrometry Imaging (NiCE-MSI) in 2018. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Surrey in 2015. Since graduating she has worked in various different industry sectors within the analytical sciences including; polymer coatings, petrochemical testing and within the Imaging and Analysis Centre of the Natural History museum. Amy’s current role in NiCE-MSI as a laboratory manager involves supporting the cutting edge work in a variety of studies within the ambient and MALDI mass spectrometry imaging team, including work on the Cancer Research UK grand challenge.
