Inside efforts to make PPE for the frontline

The Royal Academy of Engineering has launched a new online Q&A series to explore the different ways that the engineering profession is contributing to the COVID-19 response.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) has been a prominent topic over the past months, and a critical component of the pandemic response.

Andy Morris, North of England Operations Manager, National Physical Laboratory featured on the latest Q&A to discuss the ways in which NPL and other organisations across the UK have been working to deliver safe PPE through different collaborations and manufacturing methods.

Watch the video here to meet engineers and project managers from three very different organisations who took on this challenge; a business, a university, and a government laboratory.
