European energy gases workshop

Exploring current and future scenarios within energy gas industries that may create new measurement challenges.

Euromet energy gases

Bringing together European experts from industry, academia, government, and from across the measurement community to discuss and prioritise the technical challenges presented by current and future energy gases, and the role that measurement could play in addressing them. This workshop is run by the European Metrology Network (EMN) for Energy Gases, which with a broader remit than traditional metrology, aims to become the central nucleus to cover all of the measurement needs raised by the diversification of energy sources and thereby to facilitate the energy transition with respect to quality, efficiency, safety and trade aspects.

The workshop will offer attendees:

  • The opportunity to input into the Strategic Research Agenda of the EMN, which will be used to form the basis of a harmonised and sustainable European measurement infrastructure
  • Interaction with stakeholders, including policy makers, across all energy gas thematic areas
  • Complimentary networking lunch
