Mohammad Hussein

Senior scientist

Mohammad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Medical Physics, 2006, Master of Science in Medical Physics in 2008 and PhD in Medical Physics in 2015, all from the University of Surrey. He has 10 years’ experience working in the NHS in Clinical Radiotherapy Physics, particularly in the areas of advanced treatment planning, patient-specific quality assurance, and radiotherapy dosimetry audit. Over the last 7 years he has been active in research through his PhD study and numerous publications in major international journals, and proffered and invited presentations at international conferences. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 scientific papers, as well as a book chapter, and a section in the IPEM 81 2nd Edition report, in the area of his expertise. Mohammad joined the National Physical Laboratory as a Senior Research Scientist in July 2017.
