Consultancies
Government is funding short consultancies with the UK NMI in order to aid UK SMEs to develop products, processes and services.
This scheme is designed to allow NMS laboratory scientists to offer between 2 hours and 4 days help to a UK SME company specific to one of its products, processes or services. The project must not compete with commercial offerings already available in the market place.
It must also involve specific physical intervention, e.g. inspection of parts, site visits, etc. It is possible for trade associations or similar organisations to apply for this provided they can demonstrate member interest.
