NPL scientist Vishal Panchal has successfully completed a six-month secondment to NIST

The secondment was fully sponsored by NIST. The topic of Vishal's research was related to the growth and characterization of graphene nanoribbons with advanced electronic properties.

While at NIST, Vishal was trained in a number of innovative techniques and will transfer the newly-acquired knowledge to his colleagues in the Graphene team.

During the next phase (in 2016-17), we will continue the project at NPL using our internal expertise and unique facilities (i.e. four-nanoprobe station, SKPM and scattering SNOM systems).
