Measuring the thermal performance of insulation utilising reflective surfaces
There are two basic ways of measuring the thermal performance of reflective insulation in a hot box apparatus:
1. Measure the thermal resistance of an air cavity insulated with the product
2. Measure the U-value of a representative structure insulated with the product
