The event will include the official launch, by Sir Colin Dollery, of the 3D OrbiSIMS.

This free event includes:

  • A full programme of excellent invited speakers covering the state of the art in mass spectrometry imaging (SIMS, MALDI MS and ambient MS), as well as applications in life-sciences and advanced manufacturing
  • A vendor exhibition giving an excellent opportunity to find out about the latest technologies

Getting more out of your MSI data
28 November 2016, 09:30 to 16:00

NiCE-MSI, in collaboration with NAG, is also hosting an interactive workshop for introduction-level software and computational analysis of MSI data on the preceding day (Monday 28 November). The workshop is suitable for all mass spectrometrists, regardless of previous computational experience, and will be a complementary mix of taught material and hands-on data analysis covering MSI data basics, open formats and conversion, visualisation and its potential perils, data pre-processing, multivariate analysis, data fusion, clustering and machine learning techniques. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own data to use within the workshops, in place of NPL data.

Please register separately for this workshop as places are limited.
