Ian Gilmore has been awarded Fellowship of the American Vacuum Society (AVS). The citation is 'For outstanding contribution to metrology in surface analysis, with special focus on quantification in static SIMS, Auger electron spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy'.
