Felicia Green was awarded a DPhil for her thesis "Identification of complex molecules at surfaces and interfaces". Felicia did her DPhil at Oxford (Physics) under the supervision of Prof John Ryan. The thesis has made a major contribution to the analysis of complex molecules at surfaces by SIMS and has led to new opportunities for NPL in ambient surface mass spectrometry, which Felicia now leads.
