Congratulations to Andrew Pollard, who has successfully defended his PhD thesis, titled 'Scanning Probe Microscopy of Adsorbed Molecules on Boron Nitride and Graphene Monolayers'.

The PhD was carried out with Professor Peter Beton in the Nanoscience group at the University of Nottingham.

This work significantly contributed to the understanding of the formation of Graphene monolayers on transition metal thin films, and the subsequent self-assembly of adsorbed organic molecules for producing nanoscale structures on Graphene and Boron Nitride surfaces.
