Jon Fletcher
Biography

Jon Fletcher received his PhD degree in Physics in 2005 from the University of Bristol. His PhD work focused on the 'multi-band' superconductor MgB2.
As a post-doctoral researcher at Bristol, he investigated the origins of unconventional superconductivity through Fermi surface studies at extremely high magnetic fields and measurements of London penetration depth at very low temperature.
Current Interests
Jon joined the Quantum Detection group in NPL in 2009 and is now working on the manipulation of single electrons in semiconductor based quantum dot pumps.
