Collaborative research is undertaken with a variety of outside bodies.

Close contact is maintained with several universities including:

• Lancaster
• Surrey
• Imperial College London

Several EC funded collaborative projects have been undertaken with partners from EU countries. These have been concerned mainly with the development and validation of spectrometry systems for workplace field use.

As a result of our common interest in neutron dosimetry several joint projects have been undertaken with:

• Health Protection Agency (HPA).
