The Composites and Polymeric Materials Group use a broad range of measurement technology to understand material behaviour, supporting businesses of all sizes.

NPL Composites and Polymeric Materials researchers play a significant role in the ISO standardisation process for composites and plastics within ISO TC61, chairing working groups and leading projects. Input to the following standards has been made over recent years.
