Functional Materials Industrial Advisory Groups

The Composites, Adhesives and Polymeric Materials Group use a broad range of measurement technology to understand material behaviour, supporting businesses of all sizes.

Industrial Advisory Groups (IAG) act as focal points for open discussion and views in support of current research projects.

You can hear about the aims and progress of the National Measurement System (NMS) funded core research at NPL through joining an Industrial Advisory Group. It is an opportunity to interact closely with NPL influencing direction, dissemination routes and further work, and offer materials for testing and research targeted on your own requirements. The IAG is free to join and usually meets twice a year with an opportunity to highlight and make presentations on complex materials issues affecting your industry sector. It is a useful forum for networking with other users from industry and academia with similar interests.

In addition to collaborating with NPL on core research topics through the Industrial Advisory Groups, there are a number of mechanisms by which collaboration and interaction can occur - more information
