Polymer Rheology
NPL's aims are to develop test methodologies for the rheological properties of materials, covering both a wide range of techniques and materials. Techniques, which NPL have developed and contributed to the development of relevant international standards, are given in the measurement techniques section below. Each technique has its advantages and limitations and selection of the appropriate method to be used is dependent on many factors.
A short guide providing information to assist in the identification and selection of the appropriate measurement methods is available to download here ![]()
