In this report, suggestions are made for size, site, general design features, environmental control, equipment and other factors which affect the satisfactory functioning of an engineering metrology laboratory. A bibliography and a list of some suppliers of equipment is included. This report was originally published in 1970, having been prepared by T R Oakley subsequent revisions were issued in 1972 and 1977. The current updated version has been produced by T Fletcher.
