Different techniques for the counting of proteins attached to surfaces in contact with a biological fluid.

The ability to measure the amount of protein at a surface is important for detection of biomarkers, which can be a sign of disease, and the use of advanced medical devices, as proteins will readily absorb into most materials. This research tested several different methods of quantifying proteins at surfaces and the correlation between them.
