Using a new measurement device to monitor how the shape and structure of organic photovoltaic blends affects the current generated by them.
A new technique called Photoconductive Atomic Force Microscopy (pc-AFM) was used to investigate topography and photocurrent in organic photovoltaic material, which can be used in solar power panels.
These measurements are important to the development of solar energy technology and should contribute to increased efficiencies as the relationship between the structure of the material and its performance is better understood.
