Measuring the efficiency of health and personal care products by testing their absorption into the skin.

Molecules of health and personal care product (PCP) ingredients are tested for after being applied to a layer of 'model skin' using ambient mass spectroscopy, which allows for faster analysis than alternative methods. These measurements indicate the adsorption, and therefore efficiency, of these products and will help with the development of new, improved products.
