Monitoring strategy

1. Monitoring records must be kept

It is a regulatory requirement that monitoring records are kept.

What Monitoring records should include:

  • instrument type
  • instrument identifier
  • instrument setup (including the use of end caps, etc.)
  • working instructions
  • monitoring procedure
  • action levels
  • measurement results
  • the operator
  • time and date of the measurements

Facilities should be available for record keeping. Consider providing a sketch of areas requiring special attention.
