Can this item be measured?
- have tolerances been specified for which technology does not exist to prove conformance /non-conformance?
- has enough room been allowed for access to the features that need measuring?
- are tolerances reasonable?
- are datum features large enough?
- have tolerances for partial features (e.g. partial arcs) been specified in an appropriate way?
- has the designer spoken to the person performing the measurements early in the design process?
Small changes at design stage could prevent costly quote for measurement later.
