Current Interests

William Kylberg joined the electrochemistry group at NPL in 2011 and is now working on metrology of dye sensitised and organic solar cells. A particular area of focus is photo-electrochemical and photocurrent mapping.

Biography

William Kylberg received his PhD degree in Chemistry in 2008 from the University of Basel. His PhD work focussed on the synthesis, photo-electrochemistry and use in dye sensitised solar cells of metal polypyridyl complexes. Prior to this he obtained an MSc from the University of Uppsala in Sweden.

As a post-doctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute for Materials Testing and Research (EMPA) in Zurich he worked on organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices and development of flexible transparent electrodes.
