Tara Salter
Current Interests

- Developing the measurement framework for DESI, including optimisation and standardisation of the technique
- Novel ambient mass spectrometry techniques, PADI and EESI
- Static SIMS and organic depth profiling
Biography
Tara Salter graduated with an MPhys degree in Physics from the University of Oxford in 2008 and has just begun a PhD with Dr Morgan Alexander and Prof Martyn Davies, Department of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. She is currently working on optimisation and standardisation of desorption electrospray ionisation, and the development of other ambient mass spectrometry capabilities such as PADI and EESI. Tara was the lead scientific organiser of NMAET IV (Nano-Molecular Analysis for Emerging Technologies IV). Tara is a graduate member of the Institute of Physics and the British Mass Spectrometry Society.
