Rui Wang

Rui Wang is currently a first year PhD student at Imperial College London. Her PhD work focuses on 'Developing Electro-Mechanical Resonators Based on Graphene'. Rui obtained her MSc and BSc degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2013 and 2011, respectively. In 2012, she participated in a secondment from Harbin to National Physical Laboratory (NPL) for five months as a guest student and assisted collaborative research in the area of dimensional metrology.

Research interests

Rui's interests include characterising graphene by using AFM/SKPM and Raman spectroscopy, optimising graphene transfer method and developing nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) built on existing room temperature 3D dielectric resonators.
