Role

Mike Miller

Dr Mike Miller is a Higher Research Scientist working in the Gas Metrology group whose main tasks are related to making and certifying gas standards. Measurement techniques used include chemiluminescence, NDIR, NDUV and gas chromatography.

Biography

Mike's background is analytical chemistry and he has spent several years running gas analysis instrumentation for aircraft emission work.

As part of Mike's PhD work: novel gas measurements were made within the volume of a realistic aero combustor to obtain individual hydrocarbon measurements utilizing on-line FTIR and GCMS.

Mike is a chartered member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
