Eleonora Cerasoli

Current Interests

Eleonora Cerasoli
  • Protein folding, misfolding and aggregation
  • Multi-technique and multi-scale biophysical approaches to protein structure elucidation
  • Conformational diagnostics and biomarker detection

Biography

After receiving her Laurea (five year degree) in Chemistry (La Sapienza, Rome) Eleonora worked for a few years in industry (both in QC and drug discovery) before coming to the UK, where she completed her PhD in protein folding with Professor Nicholas Price at the University of Glasgow, and post-doctoral studies in protein design at the University of Sussex. Eleonora joined NPL in 2005, where her main research interests focus on the study of protein structure-function relationships and folding.
